Our Mission

The Shook Home is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing quality restorative and maintenance health care services for residents and older adults living in Chambersburg and the surrounding area and to promote and enhance the residents' state of independence, well being and dignity. The Shook Home and The Quarters at The Shook is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing quality care to promote independence, dignity, and self-worth in a home-like environment.

The Shook Home is affiliated with and holds active membership in the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) and Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging (PANPHA).

Provides Housing for Persons 65 Years
of Age and Older in the Residential
Living Units, Provides Skilled Nursing
and Personal Care Regardless of Age
