Annual Events

At the Shook Home and The Quarters we have annual events at our facilities. Here is a look at what is coming up. These events are designed for people in the community to visit our campus as well as provide fun activities and stimulation for our residents.

Easter Egg Hunt: The Easter Egg Hunt is provided for all children and grandchildren of residents and staff.

Volunteer Appreciation Banquet: This is a special time set aside to recognize all of our volunteers.

National Nursing Home Week: The facility plans events that for all residents and staff of the Nursing Facility.

Annual Longtern Living Week Dance: Special entertainmnet provided

National Assisted Living Week: This week recognizes residents and staff from our Personal Care Facility.

Memorial Service: All residents who have passed away will be remembered on this day.

Christmas Day Parade: Our residents and staff decorate our van and participate in the Chambersburg Christmas Parade.
